Every week, it’s our goal to provide you with some questions to process the message deeper, either personally, or with a small group. Here are some questions for you to consider from this week’s message, “The Living Sacrifice”, with Pastor Derick Brown.
TALK IT OUT
- Have you ever considered that being a “living sacrifice” might mean living the good life in your Heavenly Father’s house?
- Have you ever avoided living life – enjoying life – because you felt guilty?
- Consider that Jesus’ love for you is parallel to the love and care that the families of the sacrificial lamb would have felt for what amounts to their family pet. Consider that His love for you was so great that He chose to be sacrificed in your place. How does this scenario motivate your heart and mind to live for Christ?
- Take a few moments and ask Jesus to help you to truly accept the gift He gave when He took your place as the actual sacrifice. Ask Him to help you to fully utilize that gift by learning to truly live the way He meant for you to live (see John 10:10-15).
