PROVERBS, Part 1: Going Deeper Questions

PROVERBS, Part 1: Going Deeper Questions

We loved seeing everyone at church this weekend!  Feel free to message us during the week if you have any questions about the sermon. If you missed this week’s message, or want to hear it again, be sure to check out our SERMONS Page. Messages are generally posted each week by Wednesday morning.

Every week, it’s our goal to provide you with some questions to process the message deeper, either personally, or with a small group. Here are some questions for you to consider from this week’s message, “Walking in Wisdom in a Wild Wolrd”, part 1 of the PROVERBS message series with Pastor Shawn M. Shoup.

KEY SCRIPTURE

TALK IT OUT

  • “Camaraderie and a couple commandments are not enough to survive in the wild. We need survival skills.” What life-survival skills do you feel society is lacking? What life-survival skills do you feel you are lacking?
  • This message is based in Proverbs 1:1-7. What do you feel prompted Solomon to write about wisdom?
  • If you asked God for wisdom and guidance, do you think that He would be faithful to provide them? Why or why not?
  • Have you gone to mydestiny.family/proverbs and signed up for daily readings in the book of Proverbs for the rest of July and August? If yes, great! If not, take a moment and consider how doing so might benefit your personal search for wisdom.
