Lori started as the bookkeeper at Destiny in May 2009. She is a Bowdle, SD, native. She obtained a B.S. Degree in Psychology/Music at NSU and professional training from Sheffield School of Interior Design, NY; floral design from Sullivan, Inc.; and corporate event decoration-FIB, Inc. She has a varied background in human resource management, franchising, corporate administration/operations, motel chain inspection, Inc. 500 executive planning, residential and commercial construction, newspaper, and radio and printing sales. She co-owned several companies, including home décor and gift stores, a log home company, and automotive businesses.
She is passionate about pursuing God, Spirit-led prophetic worship, and helping the “least of these”. She enjoys being part of the Destiny worship team and playing with area worship bands as a keyboardist, drummer, and vocalist. She loves sharing her heart and testimonies at women’s retreats and community events. In her spare time, she operates a part-time floral and craft business, does freelance designing, and serves on school and church event planning teams. She has also served as an event director of a church capital fundraising campaign.
Lori especially loves spending time with her beloved family and friends. She feels her greatest joy in life has been seeing God’s hand in raising up her 2 beautiful daughters and a 30+ year marriage. Her hobbies are camping, the outdoors, nature walks, baking, renovating, road trips, games, and watching movies and football.
