START TALKING

Find a conversation starter.  

• Define the following: Love, great
• What does real love look like?
• What does God’s love look like? What about mankind’s Love?

START THINKING

Ask a question to get you/your group thinking. 

• Has your view of love changed over the years?
• What are the different aspects of love?
• Is love conditional or unconditional? Explain

START SHARING

Choose a question to create openness. 

• What type of love have you experienced?
• How do you receive love?
• What is God’s view of Love?
• What is the world’s view of love?

START PRAYING

Be bold and pray with power. 

Father,

Teach me how to receive your love. Show me the area(s) where your love is needed the most. Thank you for loving me when I am at my worst.

Amen, and amen.

START DOING

Commit to a step and live it out this week. 

1. Pray for Shawn, Deanna, and family.
2. Do a topical bible study, by looking up the word “Love” in the bible.
3. Spend time with God and ask him how much he loves you. The journal how this view has affected you.
4. Watch your actions for a day then journal if they were done in Love or something else.
5. (For those with time) read various passages in both the old and new testaments, then compare if God’s love is the same or different. Journal your findings.
