We loved seeing everyone this weekend! Feel free to message us during the week if you have any questions. If you missed this week’s message, or want to hear it again, check out our SERMONS Page. Messages are generally posted each week by Tuesday afternoon.

Every week, we aim to provide you with some questions to process the message deeper, either personally or with a small group. Here are some questions for you to consider from the message “Abide, Hide, Ride” with Chris Bruse.

KEY SCRIPTURE

  • John 15

TALK IT OUT

Discuss these questions with someone—maybe a family member, friend, or member of your Connect Group. Use a communication method that works best for your situation.

START TALKING

Find a conversation starter.

  • What does abiding in Jesus look like?
  • What has God brought you through?
  • What is God telling you to do?
  • How quickly has God’s request been answered?

START THINKING

Ask a question to get you/your group thinking.

  • What does it mean to abide in Jesus? Hide in Jesus? Ride with Jesus?
  • What do you require from God in order to complete his request? Explain
  • Are you hiding from God or with God? Explain

START SHARING

Choose a question to create openness.

  • How has God provided for your needs, wants, desires?
  • Has God ever provided for a need in an unusual or unexpected way? Tell/ write the story.
  • How is God pruning you?
  • What prayers has God answered?

START PRAYING

Be bold and pray with power.

Heavenly Father,

Reveal to me what type of relationship I have with you. Help me to see the influence you have through me. Thank you for teaching my hands not just to war but to praise, give, and assist you in your work.

Amen.

START DOING

Commit to a step and live it out this week.

  1. Visit monumentworship.com
  2. Pray for Shawn, Deanna, and family.
  3. Ask God what his new name for you is. Then continue the conversation about how he sees that aspect in you. Then draw a picture, find a photo, of how that applies to you.
  4. Journal with God as to how you are wrestling with him and what for.
  5. Ask Holy Spirit to show you how diligent you are seeking him and how that looks.
  • Pick one or two of those options and take steps to walk them out this week.
